		ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. In 1992 the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) introduced ENERGY STAR as a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy-efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

		Faronics has been recognized by the Climate Savers Computing Initiative for its effectiveness in helping organizations reduce computer energy waste. The goal of the Climate Savers Computing Initiative is to promote development, deployment and adoption of smart technologies that can both improve the efficiency of a computer's power delivery and reduce the energy consumed when the computer is in an inactive state.

		ISTE is a nonprofit professional organization with a worldwide membership of leaders and potential leaders in educational technology. ISTE is dedicated to providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in K–12 education and teacher education. ISTE provides their members with information, networking opportunities, and guidance as they face the challenge of incorporating computers, the Internet, and other new technologies into their schools.

		EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. The current membership comprises more than 2,000 colleges, universities, and educational organizations, including 200 corporations with 15,000 active members. EDUCAUSE has offices in Boulder, Colorado, and Washington, D.C.

		BC Technology Industries Association (BC TIA) is a not-for-profit, member-funded organization that represents the technology industry of British Colombia.
